After overcoming a whole lot of obstacles, I decided to subscribe to a dating site to meet new people… I came across the profile of Carlos & instantly send him a message… Carlos immediately responded to this, but had no response back for the whole of that December… I finally paid the activation fee …After both of us experiencing much heart ache, we were both looking for someone who could be a very good friend of the opposite sex, just to hang out with. I have been meaning to write this message for a long time. I went on this site 2 years ago exactly. I was completely dubious and sceptical that anything may come of it. I was bored with meeting drunken guys in pubs/night clubs and nothing ever coming of it…We met 2 years ago, and we’re engaged to be married next year… we are a great couple but if it wasn’t for internet dating I really don’t think our paths would ever have crossed. To all those thinking of doing it and worried about how it may work out I would advise you to go for it. It felt gutsy at the time as its hard to put your heart on the line and out-rightly declare that you’re ready to meet someone special and settle down but it worked out for me and brought me such happiness and hopefully it will for you.:)
